There is a memory card. Bought 2 about 9 months ago. I installed one and it's actually a pretty good camera. I have no complaints. Main things i love are the Free app, free notifications and has a memory card.
I have 2 of these devices. One mounted outside my detached garage and another on the back of my house. So far, I've had no complaints about the wifi connection. They are very bright. I also like that the app and notifications are free.

Video can only be watched in the Feit app. You can connect the lights to Alexa or Google Home, but you can't view video in the respective apps.

If wi-fi connection is weak, consider using a range extender.
Don't bother with Feit. Their smart devices are crap and lose wifi connection too often. Got a Eufy which is not perfect either but at least maintained the connection a lot pre reliably.

Update, installed and on the opposite side from my router and working perfectly. Shows Wi-Fi signal in percentages too and I'm getting 61-80% and video and notifications work every time.

*Went to install a micro SD card in the slot and lo and behold, there's one in there already, nice.

Any suggestions for a camera and security light for a farm with 60x100 barn? 12' high.

Range extenders are known as headache extenders. Upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 and use Satellites.

Good but lights do not TURN ON when needed. Replaced this in our front yard and have to be without light during evenings. False alarm sometimes, may be due to wind.
I get false alerts too with wind OR hummingbirds. Yes, hummingbirds buzz the camera. I guess the circular camera reminds them of a hummingbird house.

As someone who has several ring products including a floodlight cam… I probably won't bite on this deal but I'm intrigued. I do pay a couple dollars a month to cloud record. So instead of having images on a cloud these have a memory card? So what happens if a thief knocks this camera down and takes the whole camera? You have no way of seeing what happened unless you managed to see it all happen live? That can't be right. I'm confused. If anyone could articulate how these function differently compared to ring I will bless you with a thumb up.

I've had one of these installed for over a year (bought when on sale for $99.99). My issues from most annoying to least annoying:

* unreliable alerts (sometimes days or even weeks go by without an alert)
* unreliable motion recordings (sometimes the light will turn on but nothing is recorded on the SD card, at least according to the app)
* no person/animal/object detection
* I've had mine freeze up a couple of times and needed to be power cycled (by flipping the circuit breaker, in my case)
* cannot view camera on Echo displays (like Ring/Wyze/etc.)

I can see why they're getting rid of these. It's kind of a half baked product, and they can't compete with cheaper & more established brands like Wyze or Eufy. Hopefully the clearance deal doesn't mean they're going to end app support for the product soon.

On the positive side, I have a pretty solid mesh network and haven't experienced any issues with wifi connectivity.

Correct, all the video is saved on the microSD card (which is stored inside the camera). There's no cloud storage or option to stream to a local HD (like you can by using RTSP with certain cameras, such as old Wyze cams), but you can download clips to your phone. It's a basic no-frills motion cam with few features, but you can get it from Costco and it's cheap compared to Ring, so those are the advantages.

I have Ring, Wyze, Blink and now this. Blink is utter crap now, just deleted the wireless cams today in fact, tired of them not working right. My Ring doorbell is rock solid but the video quality no longer on par with competitors but it always works so it stays. My ring outdoor battery cam is complete garbage since day one, thankfully I think it died now, no more Ring battery products for me. My Wyze are the low-key stars of the show, video quality is excellent, especially at night. Once you fine tune the settings and notifications they are pretty good. What I learned from them is you always want power and not battery, power always works and works fast. I bought the Feit because I needed a new floodlight anyway and it costs about the same but so far it's shaping up to be really good. Still waiting to see how it does at night. Camera quality seems good, notifications seem fine. Comes with an SD card, motion settings can be adjusted, even the brightness of the lights can be adjusted which is pretty sweet. I consider this supplemental since the Wyze cameras would capture everything anyway but if you have floodlights why not give these a chance, a floodlight with a camera always beats one without one any day. Construction seems good too, comes with a gasket when you mount it and the SD card door has a gasket too and that sucker is shut tight.

I actually have one installed and flickers like there is no tomorrow, movement sensor is also finicky , lots of false alerts and sometime will not run on unless you wave right in front of it. I will eventually take it back to Costco but waiting from something better ....

this is decent to watch areas that doesnt have a lot of movements like trees, dogs or cars, it's very sensitive and picks up all motions

Poor WiFi connections (even when on a separate 2.4Ghz network that I use for just IoT stuff)

False motion from rain and snow (and flying bugs)

One of the LED light heads now operates at 1/2 the output of the other side after 9 months (installed June 2022).
100% concur and second that.
App has not been updated for over a year, its matter of time whatever servers they use won't work. Hard to playback, its glitchy.

Hardway may be great but these things are 80% software and I don't think it will be supported after costco stops selling these. They have no income to fund the servers/labor.

Not by the floodlights, in the electronics section by security cameras. My store had tons so assuming all do.
