There is a memory card. Bought 2 about 9 months ago. I installed one and it's actually a pretty good camera. I have no complaints. Main things i love are the Free app, free notifications and has a memory card.
I have 2 of these devices. One mounted outside my detached garage and another on the back of my house. So far, I've had no complaints about the wifi connection. They are very bright. I also like that the app and notifications are free.

Video can only be watched in the Feit app. You can connect the lights to Alexa or Google Home, but you can't view video in the respective apps.

If wi-fi connection is weak, consider using a range extender.
Don't bother with Feit. Their smart devices are crap and lose wifi connection too often. Got a Eufy which is not perfect either but at least maintained the connection a lot pre reliably.

I have one installed in 2021. The quality of the video sucks, app doesn't respond well. The only purpose it serves right now is being a motion sensing flood light for me.

Anyone know if there's enough adjustment play to make sense mounting upside down under a soffit?
I was able to do it with some modification. Not hard but it will work

Update, installed and on the opposite side from my router and working perfectly. Shows Wi-Fi signal in percentages too and I'm getting 61-80% and video and notifications work every time.

*Went to install a micro SD card in the slot and lo and behold, there's one in there already, nice.
Probably returned. Pull card and see who had your camera before you.

I have some devices of Feit. I have no problem losing wifi like you but it's little crazy try to reconnecting when I changing router 😅

LMAO, box was sealed and everything brand new. Card is included, they just don't do a very good job of letting you know, it's written on the side of the box.

Oh lol. Thought you were saying you found an extra card in the slot and there was another one that came with it. Nvm

Ha Ha no, I thought there was no card, the box has a ton of writing on the front with features highlighted but not the card so I grabbed a card I had from Microcenter, went back out in the cold , undid the tiny screws for the hatch and there was already a card in there. I feel like that's a feature that should not only be highlighted as included but also mentioned as pre-installed.
