Honestly, even since JR is now doing the "get an order, sell your name to EVERYONE" BS, I'm sticking with my local tobaconist.
I went through sampling for many years and I'm not sure how the casual cigar smoker doesn't find something and stick with it. Varieties can be very far apart, enough so to permanently turn some people off.
I've had a few 'peppery' ones that were great, but you weren't gonna be tasting much for the next few weeks.
The Maxx is a fairly smooth cigar which punches way above its weight in nicotine. Fun to give that one to a light weight friend. I'd skip the others, except the Prensado which is great.
Some decent sticks in here. At $3 each it's a no brainer. With spring coming there will be lots of opportunities for yard gar smoking.
The cutter is a nice touch. I've got plenty of nice ones but always like having a spare that I don't have to worry about. Good to toss in as a spare whenever you are away from home.
Clean the blades with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol often and these cheap cutters do a decent job.

I agree but the black market is good when you want a dark cigar

In NY I'm not making anyone but NY rich. Online is the best option for me. Good deal.
If/when they substitute contents, it's generally for a different (larger) vitola (size) so it works out even better…
