I own a timex weekender and refuse to replace the battery. The ticking at night will drive you nuts. Cheap, functional and good looks but the ticking offsets it all.

I have a lot of watches in my collection and even some more expensive examples, but this thing right here is the only watch I have that permanently lives on my nightstand precisely because it's loud af. I'd compare it to having to sleep with a fan on or something. The rhythmic sound is relaxing to me. That said, not everyone appreciates this "feature".
