Fate of Atlantis is a point and click game. I think Last Crusade is as well. FOA has a fantastic story.
Infernal Machine is probably my favorite due to the setting...but Emperors Tomb has the best gameplay and controls much better than Infernal Machine.

Infernal Machine was an N64 game

Emperors Tomb was A PS2, XBox game.

For $2 each...I'd buy them all.

Hope this helps.

These all look interesting at the very least. I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan. Does anyone have an opinion as to which of these I should start with (the best one)?

Infernal Machine is a pretty good late-90's Tomb Raider clone. Fate of Atlantis is a classic LucasArts adventure game, one of the best, and one of my favorite games from my youth. If you're gonna play all four, I'd save it for last, since it's probably the best of them.

I can't vouch for Emperor's Tomb or Last Crusade, but I know Last Crusade is an adventure game too along the lines of Atlantis. It came out a few years earlier, so it might seem even more archaic.

I was a big fan of the point and click games decades ago (played Last Crusade in '89 on my 286 Packard Bell!) Just picked up that and Fate of Atlantis, but will probably buy the other two before the end of the day.

Fate of Atlantis hands down, but be aware that some of the puzzles are brain wracking.

Infernal Machine is picky with the hardware, sucks because of that.

Thank god we now have google and walkthroughs. Early 90's Lucas Arts games, and Myst, would drive you insane

No kidding. My friends and I would spend weeks trying to figure out how to get to the next step in these games. Very different experience from the instant gratification of a Youtube search. I'm thinking that's why the popularity of this type of game has decreased significantly.

Lots of talk about Fate of Atlantis. Here's some details from the product page:
  • Here's where you come in: you direct the actions of Indy (and, occasionally, his one-time colleague turned psychic, Sophia Hapgood) in his search for Atlantis. Periodically, Indy will be called upon to drive a car, ride a camel, pilot a balloon, operate a submarine, and repair and use Atlantean machinery. Beyond that, there will be a heap of mysterious puzzles to unravel and a slew of dangerous encounters to survive. With the help of your wits, your fists, and your trusted companion, you and Indy will eventually discover the true Fate of Atlantis!
  • Point 'n' click your way through fistfights, puzzles, balloon rides, car chases and Indy one-liners.
  • Explore over 200 spectacular locations as you take Indy to such exotic backdrops as Monte Carlo, Algiers, and the island of Crete.
  • Hear exclusive iMUSE create a musical score that follows your every move.
  • Play and replay - three unique challenging paths to vanquish the Reich.
