USB-C Prioritization Enables you to specify the priority to transfer the data with high resolution (High Resolution 4 Lanes) or high speed (High Data Speed 2 Lanes) when using the USB-C port.

NOTES: 1. Default setting High Resolution 4 Lanes (HBR3) can support up to 2560 x 1440 at 165 Hz, Color bits 10 bits, HDR; USB performance will be reduced to USB 2.0.

Yes I agree. I have no need for a monitor currently but if I did... This would be the winner.

This is a very high quality monitor at a decent price and packed with features. I might hop on this on myself.

Was about to pull the trigger on the Dell but saw the gigabyte deal. the difference here is $100, 1440 vs 4k and 2 inches of screen.

is the jump to the gigabyte worth it?

Neither of these monitors is 4k, they are both 1440. The Gigabyte is ultrawide vs Dell being wide screen. The Dell specs appear to be better if you don't need ultrawide.

Yes. I've used my MacBook Pro with USB-C port and works great. It even brings the cables with it.

No, 1440p works well at 31.5". I use these at work, so YMMV for games.
