USB-C Prioritization Enables you to specify the priority to transfer the data with high resolution (High Resolution 4 Lanes) or high speed (High Data Speed 2 Lanes) when using the USB-C port.
NOTES: 1. Default setting High Resolution 4 Lanes (HBR3) can support up to 2560 x 1440 at 165 Hz, Color bits 10 bits, HDR; USB performance will be reduced to USB 2.0.

Anyway, they're very different also because one is ultrawide and one is standard. Hard to give a suggestion without knowing your exact desires/needs.
Also if it means anything I decided to order this one both because I need it now and it makes more sense for what I'm using it for. The IPS panel was a factor, and I would most likely need a new GPU to run things at the ultrawide resolution.
Thanks for this post, just saw it after posting myself. But I'm waiting for 27" minutes I guess based on what you said. I'm an FPS gamer, albeit very infrequently, but still I was worried about it being too large and you're spot on, it will be overwhelming I think.
How does that affect your recommendations about whether this 32" deal is adequate for me, or whether I should hold off since I'm not in a rush and spend the extra $80 for the 34" when that deal comes back?
For productivity you will likely benefit from a monitor with 4K res for sharper text etc

Initial impressions are that it is plenty bright for indoor/office use. Text is clear enough for me for general use. Youtube videos at 1440/60 are beautiful. I haven't gamed on it yet but I will say that I'm super happy I'm not locked into Nvidia when I finally get around to upgrading my 1070.
This replaced a 27" and it's a huge upgrade!

Thanks for this info. I'm a little younger but feel my eyes are aging so I was a bit worried. But I went ahead and ordered 2 of these suckers. Good return policy, I've ordered dells for my last 4 monitors and am always happy.

Use this PC for gaming, work and photo processing. So would probably just do a dual monitor setup or try for this plus the 2x 24's in vertical mode
*Edited* - Also how does it compare to say https://www.bhphotovide
