Windows 11 Pro keys can be bought for $25 or less on cdkey sites. I've built 4 computers using them for OEM licenses. The OS cost is negligible for those in the know.
Try asking Microsoft that. Any key that is $25 is not legit. Those are specifically for factory refurbs. If you use them, you are actually doing something not legal.

This is not a deal if you can build your own computer. If you live near a Microcenter, the total cost to build everything is a little less than $1,600 (includes the recent $500 cpu mobo ram combo). If you're going to drop $800 for a new gpu, there's better value per performance cards especially if you go AMD route
Not everyone lives near a microcenter. i did for years and now i don't have have one. The nearest one is 4 hours a away. 300 bucks for profit margin and labor is pretty good.
The memory is Kingston Fury 5600Mhz 2X8GB RGB, should be at least $85, and you also need Windows 11 that will cost at least another $120. Then the difference is less than $70 and you still need to build it yourself. If this is not a good deal, what is?
Even my 70 year old mother's friends dont buy windows for 120.

This is a horrible deal. Most people who piece their computers together pay a premium to customize it. Also, nobody is paying full price for windows 11.
Due to economy of scales, pre-builts are always expected to be cheaper than customs.

It's $125 more expensive but has double the ram, a 4080 and much better PSU. Windows can be had for free from Microsoft.
