I'm just going by NEC. You're supposed to color code and coordinate color with breakers. So a 15 amp breaker, with white 14 awg cable. 20 amp breaker with yellow 12 awg cable. And then this 10 awg orange cable goes with a 30amp line. Looks like for 40 amp you'd have to go a size bigger to 8awg.

I checked and you have to buy at least 500ft so only everyday price if you're buying bulk. This is still a slick deal.
