Bought two other stands by this manufacturer, neither were as depicted. Even this one looks from the review images that the material thickness will only be about 3/4 the thickness of the renderings they use as product images. That review video also shows considerable bounce when closing the laptop so I can only image how much it'll move when actually using it.

if you looking for no bouce, i guess you need something made from thick steel..

the stand is very good for what it is, and is solid..

for $12 try it

None of these kinda stands work good.
Just use a stack of books. Very sturdy and last forever.
