Franchises shouldn't be allowed to opt out of advertised deals. Getting the benefits of the advertising but not offering the deal seems wrong.
Are you a chicken?
My local subway operator says those deals are crushing him. Corporate doesn't care because they sell him the ingredients and basically give them away at cost leaving him just the chips and drinks for profit.

Unfortunately none of the locations near me are offering this bucket special, yet some are offering the 8 piece tenders with 4 dipping sauces for 10 bucks. Ymmv

"KFC looks to take its value game to another level with the launch of its new $10 8-Piece Buckets deal at participating locations.

As part of the offer, you can get an 8-piece bucket of fried chicken or 8 pieces of Extra Crispy Tenders for just $10 through the brand's mobile app or website beginning on February 23, 2023.
Each bucket includes your choice of 8 pieces of Original Recipe, bone-in chicken, or 8 freshly prepared Extra Crispy Tenders with 4 dipping sauces, for $10."
