Franchises shouldn't be allowed to opt out of advertised deals. Getting the benefits of the advertising but not offering the deal seems wrong.

My local subway operator says those deals are crushing him. Corporate doesn't care because they sell him the ingredients and basically give them away at cost leaving him just the chips and drinks for profit.

Safeway is Albertsons in my area. I wouldn't eat their chicken even if they pay me $5 Yucky. Ralphs' fried chicken is a lot better than Albertsons. But nothing compares to Popeyes. I'll take Popeyes over KFC at any time. KFC's just bland and Ralphs was marginally better than KFC.

IIRC, Popeye's $2 for 2pcs leg & thigh, so multiply everything by 4 and it'd be the same. I hate chicken breasts so this works out fine for me. Dark meat is the best.
