I have a switch online 12 month membership that I haven't redeemed yet. If I want to buy the 12 month + expansion pack deal for $50 eventually. Could I redeem the previous 12 month and stack it on top of another 12 month + expansion pack? Would they stack or both be redeemed separately?

Rise has been pretty fun. I never really got into Monster Hunter until Worlds came out on Xbox but have thoroughly enjoyed the switch versions.

Pretty sure if you apply both it will ask you if you want to use the remaining days of the base subscription as a discount for the upgrade.

You can only stack if you use multiple of the same plan (2x12 month base, etc)

If you're totally new to Monster Hunter, any recommendations on where you should start?

Rise is much more newcomer friendly than generations. Generations is like a greatest hits games of all previous and has the most content. I think World is still significantly superior to rise

Rise or World

Both took out a lot of the annoying stuff from the old games and left the fun intact.

Rise has demo on Switch, also on Game Pass I think. Try it, I didn't get into it for some reason.

Go to MH world and then Rise ... They both have slightly similar mechanics ... Nonetheless they have a game on every system

Rise for sure! It's more user friendly, movement is a lot more fluid and very fun!

Me too.. Rise is on XGP. I played through the main story in less than a week at 6% completion of achievements then gave up...Not my cup of tea...

I am also new to this series, and I see suggestions for Rise and World, but only Rise is part of this sale, right?

Rise its expansion Sunbreak are great. World isn't on Switch. You can get World and its expansion Ice borne together for 30bucks at Humble Bundle. https://www.humblebundle.com/stor...search_bar

This is a sick deal. I love monster hunter. It's the perfect way to avoid any free to play game. Endless game loop with thousands of hours of time required to get 100%. You can play for 10-15 minutes or hours straight.
