California Pizza Kitchen is expensive and low quality?

Good quality, but I can't imagine paying full price. Discover cardholders can get 5% back at warehouse clubs starting April 1st, so Costco.com for these e-cards should qualify.

FYI, there's a promotion where if the LA Dodgers win at home, you get a free bbq chicken, pepperoni or cheese pizza, personal size of course. No purchase necessary!

Last year, the Dodgers were 57-24 at home.
I may pick up $100 of gift cards so I don't feel too guilty about just getting pizza and a glass of water. An app or a drink, as well as a tip for the waiter may make them less weary when I claim on the promo.

A bit off topic, but you can get a decent number of whole Costco pizzas at their food court for the $70 that you would spend for CPK gift cards. The quality is a lot better too.
Sure but then your limited in your flavors or you have to get the cheese version and add your own toppings.

Costco pizzas taste great but it's not really an apples to apples comparison. CPK pizzas are actually made in a wood stone oven and I'd say are higher in quality - probably healthier and way less greasy. CPK also has tons of other dishes and is a sit down restaurant so you can have a date night experience for example. Their Kung Pao noodles are great

Thank you. I'm in for two. This deal and the 10% off with the "Thank You" game card they're running at the moment brings the pizza price below pre-pandemic price :-)

Isn't this the place you can add broccoli as a topping? The pizza gods are rolling in their ovens right now.
What are you talking about? Some local spots in different cities add whatever the owner think it would taste good. Have seen food shows, showing pizza makers add a raw egg, add kimchi, and pretty much anything that they can think of. Most odd ball toppings may sound gross or "a sin" to use on a pizza but don't knock it until you try it. Not all pizza have to be authentic or traditional to actually be called a pizza. That's all I am saying. Give it a try and you might actually like it.

Ah yes the elusive and highly sought after "California" pizza.... You'll probably have a better experience making your own

Wonder what the purists have to say about CPK's Chipotle Chicken Pizza. We get the vegetarian version of it in which they swap chicken for Avocado slices once pizza is out of the oven. Lol, it gets topped with black beans and corn salsa and comes with a cilantro crema. We love it. I'm sure it is faaaaar from being an authentic pizza, but it is so flavorful.

Cpk went out of business by me and Costco refunded the gift cards because there was none left in the state. I just had had to return all gift cards even if some amount has been used. So hold on to the cards if you think they are going to go out of business around you.
No one in OC cooks, so although rent is high, CPK isn't going anywhere.

I personally like roasted broccoli since it has a more robust flavor when roasted. Cauliflower is ok on pizza

Agreed. Would rather just go to Costco and order their pizza.

Just signed up for the email list and they emailed a reward for $5 off and a free small plate entree. In the app, I see the $5 reward but don't see the free small plate entree. Anyone know where to find this promo in the app?
