Nice find! I'd get the i7 for $45 more than i5. Faster processor and better graphics.

I agree. Note: they come with 2 RAM slots, only one is populated with a 16GB stick. So easy to upgrade to 32GB but only single channel if you do not.

Shipping is not free ($12.10 to me).

The display is great, they are light, excellent keyboard.

I had one and it looked and felt nice. It was EXTREMELY light. But when I did a windows update, the NVMe drive stopped working. NO clue why, it was really odd.
BIOS/UEFI would no longer see it. Booted into linux with a USB drive and it was nowhere to be found.
Probably a fluke, but it was returned and I didn't try another one.

Yeah that review is not inspiring confidence in this laptop or in bh photo's return policy.

I think these are Intel reference design laptops, with great build quality and amazing performance. I would have instantly bought it if I hadn't purchased the Slim 7 from Lenovo.

Can you tell me more about this compatibility mode? Is it a windows setting or a Bios setting?

Edit: thanks for indicating CSM, that brought up a lot of info online.

Don't know the answer to that, but if it is, it's a relatively easy process to get rid of everything.

I usually start the Windows, go through the registration process (so that Microsoft adds it to my devices and I get the Windows license for it), then wipe the whole disk and reinstall windows from a USB. That way you get zero bloatware guaranteed.

I have one. It's an amazing computer. It's super fast, barely weighs 2 lbs, has a great screen, totally decent keyboard, plenty of ports, and crazy good expandability for a modern laptop
