That's a good deal and will probably get FP

I decided to go with a cheaper 256gb for $15 posted earlier

The cheap one should last 2 years. But even if it lasts only 1 year, I can apply the saved $25 to buy this same Samsung in a year.

Obviously, if you're using it for important data, or need higher capacity, go with the Samsung.

But if you're like me and regularly back up your photos and only need it for a Nintendo, the cheaper one makes more sense

It's been this price for weeks, the pro plus has been $46 before, waiting for that. The SanDisk extreme is $48 right now. Both are significantly better.

Would this Samsung be ok for phone storage for a s20 ultra? Videos and pics mainly storage

Everyone's need is different. Not everyone needs or can use significantly faster cards. For example this one is perfect match for steam deck due to steam deck speed limit.

The other cards are still tested faster on the steam deck, I'm also buying for my steam deck
