Can someone educate me on what constitutes a slick deal in regards to $/Ah deal these days?

Milwaukee seems to be one of the higher price brand. There are lots of new Milwaukee tools at my local flea market. Why? Fake or has the brand been cheapened?

Stolen possibly or parts of a multipart deal that they already had that tool and didn't want doubles, or did it for the battery/charger.

I have so many m12 chargers that I probably should sell for the same reason.

At the flea market? Probably a not-insignificant amount of that is stolen. The brand is still pretty much top end. If the stuff at the flea market is all worn out it's probably just turnover, guys using it til its done.

If it's new.. then it most likely is sellers buying from these deals and then marking it back up slightly for a profit. Could also be known as "gray market" where a dealer in one area needs to buy X amount to hit different tier discounts. In order to do this, he partners up with an individual(s) in another area/state and sells to him at cost or near to. Basically, he becomes a micro distributor himself.

There is nothing wrong with the brand itself. If the person is there on a continuous basis selling, then I doubt highly they are fake. Normally, anyone selling fakes sells and moves on to the next area so as not to get caught. Unless they are just pure idiots.

Holy sh*t yes. I already have:
2x HO 12.0A
2x HO 8.0A
1x HO 6.0A
4x HO 3.0A

Plus a bunch of M12 4.0A and 6.0A, and 10x Makita 18V 5.0 and 2x 6.0A. (Makita's acquired with mower, blower, and trimmer).

No way I could justify this, but it's definitely tempting. Great batteries, 21700 cells. However, these 6.0A batteries are the same size as the HO 8.0 but have 25% less capacity... If you're going to get a battery of this size, the HO 8.0A has +33% capacity compared to the HO 6.0A for the same dimensions.

Amazon sells a single one of these same batteries for $95 so it's not as big of deal as Home Depot portrays it but it's still a deal. HD sells a single one of these for $199 lol

Not much of a deal here. Sweet spot for these is around $10 per ah which would be $240. But you do you if you wanna overspend by $80
