Theres something about this brand fertilizer compared to other organic brands, my avocado and mango produce more and slightly larger fruit, i just move the soil, spread this in the groove then cover with the soil. For fun i also sprinkled some in some sugarcane propagating in water and the speed at which they developed was surprising, placed a little in potted Bougainvillea and Hydrangea and they look healthy and are pushing out lots of blooms. I will test on grapes and strawberries, but this is a winner for me and i used less than directed.

Not a deal at all, HD (and Lowes IIRC) has it at this price and it isn't even on sale:

Well, the 16-Lb size is a bit difficult to find, but the 4-Lb size sells for $7 - $10 at other retailers. If you need 16-Lbs, I think this is a buy.

This is fine to use with other plants too (annuals, perennials, palms, veggies, etc) . Most plant-specific fertilizers are fine to use on other plants it's primarily marketing. Especially on Organics a percentage point here or there won't make much of a difference.

Wondering how is this labeled for citrus, Because citrus likes a lot of nitrogen, you want to purchase a fertilizer with at least a 2-1-1 ratio, or twice as much nitrogen as phosphorus and potassium. This is just opposite with 3-5-5.

You are correct and point out this is not a very good deal/product. BTW, deal posted by staff, seem like people don't post deal here anymore.

Great info. I have a mandarin, grapefruit, pomegranate, orange and lemon trees so I will grab a bag. My pom, grapefruit and mandarin produce like mad and I don't have them tons of fertilizer as it is.

What fruit trees do you use it on?

Been thinking about growing a peach or pear tree but seems like a ton of work to do it correctly. Pruning and directing the branches is no joke early on. The thought of wanting some fruit and just opening your back door seems pretty cool. Gonna get a bag just in case.

I bought it for my meyer lemon tree that was turning yellow, but I've been sprinkling on all my plants. I've even mixed a small amount in potting mixes for indoor plants as well.
I'm sure that's not ideal, but seems to be doing fine.
