I have this seat... I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't clean that well imo. Also I had a feature stop working after a year and had to send it in for a warranty fix... That sucked... And also at 2.5 years the heated seat stopped working. I still have it but am waiting for a toto to go on sale. It sounds basic, but having the heated seat is really awesome.

You guys, I have 4 of these. Be aware they do NOT last more than 2-3 years. 1-2 months after 2 year mark, two of the bidets seat and cover slow close mechanism broke. One of them developed a short causing the toilet seat to overheat like crazy.

Read the reviews, these are known problems. BioBidet is selling known defective designs at rock bottom prices so you guys pay the exhorbitant repairs after 2 years.

I would not recommend this one, it's like a pressure washer for your butthole. I prefer the Kohler and Brondell brands that I got from Costco

Have this one. Good at what it does and easy install but our remote stopped showing the screen. Buttons work fine but doesn't show any info even after changing batteries.

Is there an outlet on the other side of the wall? Pretty easy to add if there is.

I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to buy this brand. I have a $2000 BioBidet toilet at my house that has a specially shaped bowl that only fits their top. The top started malfunctioning and I contacted BioBidet because it was still under warranty. This is my experience:

1st:
Their phone lines are OFF THE HOOK. This is by design so you cannot get a live agent on the line. After the pre-recorded message, it hangs up on you. I asked an customer service agent about this via email and they confirmed that they've been understaffed for MONTHS. You have to go through their email support, which often takes 5+ business days for someone to respond.

2nd:
After finally getting an RA number, I mailed in the mechanical top of my Bio Bidet Toilet. It was under warranty and well received by Bio Bidet. When I didn't hear back from the repair team for 6 business days, I emailed customer service and received confirmation that they mailed out a repaired unit. When I looked up the tracking number, it was delivered to a city that's 3 hours away from me. I've been emailing them relentlessly since I found this out and they've been ignoring my emails ever since this mishap. They mailed my repaired bidet to the wrong address and they are refusing to answer any of my emails or acknowledge they've made a mistake. The way this bidet is designed, it only fits their toilet. The porcelain bottom of the toilet has a special design that fits only with the Bio Bidet top, which they mailed to the wrong address. I've been without a useable toilet for 1 month now.

3rd:
I finally received a replacement top after submitting a complaint to the BBB. The replacement top DOES NOT WORK. I have been waiting for a response for 3 days now... STILL WITHOUT A WORKING TOILET.

YMMV

I've never seen a bathroom in the US that does have a outlet by the toilet. You have to either A. factor an electrician visit into the total cost, or B. if you happen to have an outlet on the opposite side of your bathroom wall, it's a fairly simple DIY job [youtube.com].

I don't know if it's by design or not, but my house has outlets the outside walls of both of my main bathrooms. So I don't think it's an uncommon thing.

We've had 2 pairs of these now for our home and they work OK for between 1 and 2 years. Their warranty and support is not great to say the least. Luckily, Costco is. We just return these when they start screwing up and order new ones when they go on sale like now. They also have their "Pro" model on sale for $100 more. It has stainless steel nozzles, but it doesn't look like much else is different.

I have had this for about 4 years. Its a fantasitc deal for 200.00. I did have to send it in for a warranty repair and it was gone about a week. Once you use one it impossible to go back. For this amount of money its a no brainer to get it and give it a try.

I had a bidet seat from BB&B when they offered lifetime returns. It broke after about 2 years. I called, and they said I couldn't mail it back - it had to be returned to a store. They also said it was up to the store manager whether to accept it. So they sold me an item with lifetime return, with potentially no way to return it. Fortunately, the local store manager took it, but he made clear he was NOT happy about it.
