Is this a good deal? Seems pricy compared to the $1100 Best Buy Zephyrus 14 (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus...Id=6494638).

6700S vs RTX 3070 Ti 100W -- humm.

Razer makes beautiful stuff, but their batteries literally explode after a few years. I'd personally hold off on something like a Legion, but that really depends on you and your wants. I think the wisest thing is to just have a good gaming rig, and have a sufficient mid-low laptop for any travel needs

I am following the prices for the last couple months and this is not a great deal.
The prices went significaly up on the last 3 weeks.

I am looking for the 3080Ti version. It was 2500 USD on Amazon though.

I think I agree with you there. Hard to find that perfect travel laptop that has an awesome GPU/Screen too.

Good price. When I was shopping last summer this one kept getting suggested, However, I didn't purchase it for one glaring reason, the ram is soldered and has no upgrade path. So you are stuck with 16Gb's until it dies, you sell it or you trade it in. Just remember that when shopping.

If there are more in stock, would you happen to have a link? That's a pretty competitive price

I agree with you, for perfect gaming, Desktop is way to go and then a great travel laptop. If you're a content creator then Mac is the only option since the base MacBook pro m1/2 is faster than the fastest windows laptops but again mac is not home for gamers so MacBook isn't be your option regardless of it's speed.

My Razer Blade 15 had a bulging battery after 2 years. It expanded so much it pushed the glass trackpad and cracked it.

I replaced trackpad and battery but the laptop has power issues now. Weird flickering and sometimes under load it seems like there's not enough power running through it so the screen dims.

Thanks for sharing. Sorry to see you had issues too. I got my razer 3rd or 4th hand online back in maybe 2020. It's a 1070 Max-Q. Even back then, it would shut off sometimes from getting too hot. Last Spring, the chassis of the laptop started separating from itself due to battery bulging. Ended up spending hundreds to send this old dumb laptop in to Razer. They wanted an additional like $800 or $1000+ just to replace the old motherboard too. Wondering now, after reading your comment, if the previous battery had already swollen, and so maybe there's already internal damage that was there before I even got the dumb thing.

It's a beautiful device though. Love to type on it, nice size and feel... just can't even play mid range games on it very well, even with turning graphics down, adjusting thermal throttle, etc...

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16" GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Ryzen 7 6800H 16GB Ram 1TB SSD W11H 840226679204 | eBay

Mine was PERFECT, no marks at all. It comes without the original box.

Tested the hardware and everything looks fine. BF2042 and Overwatch looks amazing!

every laptop will have battery issues, that said razer has some sketch QA and terrible and long customer support. Any razer open box isn't worth the risk IMO, someone probably bought it, found some issue, and returned it for a replacement.
