My local garden center sells colored mulch per cubic yard for $30 per yard, which is more than the sale price at Lowe's but cheaper than the non-sale price at Lowe's. Delivery is another $50 with a minimum of 3 cubic yard purchase. I had bought once from the garden center, and it looked like they shortchange me when they dump it on my driveway. At least with the bagged mulch, I know quantity is guaranteed.
Then two years ago I decided to order from local mulch center. Went for the $22/yrd aged triple shred mulch (they also sale color for $30/yrd).
Quality was SO much better by a wide margin IMO. Will never go back.

Is Miraclegro good stuff? I got two big planters, need to replace the soil vs getting this stuff and mixing with this would be better?.
Or may be order 2 cubic ft from of planters mix from local place.

Bingo. This is an annual deal ($1/ft3) that always has the same comments.
Generally:
- cheaper per cu ft than even bulk delivery. What I pay for bulk is around $45-50/yd delivered (delivery fee included in that so the product itself it a bit cheaper)
- sourced regionally so there's a wide range of quality
- usually lower quality than bulk delivery from a nursery. Lots of plastic waste (bags). Usual complaints about plastic, rocks, chunks of pallets, occasional nail, wire, etc. YMMV
- Colorfastness not as good as bulk/nursery
- mold could be an issue as the bags trap moisture, however a bag would have to sit for a long time for that to happen.
So it's ultimately up to you if the price (and hauling it) is worth it for you.
I've been getting nursery/bulk for 15 years. Just found out last summer that "playground mulch" which is undyed, is significantly cheaper, if you like more of a natural look. Fortunately I've found an entrepreneurial kid that isn't afraid to do the grunt work and will buy, haul and distribute mulch and other stuff for a reasonable fee. Last I checked at a nursery, they wanted basically the same amount per yard as the mulch cost to spread it.
