If you pre-order from Best Buy for store-pickup, Best Buy likes to slap stickers on their items so watch out.

Looks great, but this hardware really needs a processor/GPU upgrade.

Thank you so much! I was so worried I wouldn't be able to get one due to scalpers!
The scalpers know it's not worth it also.

NVM I think it will just end up being a pre-auth charge only in Q1 and then it will actually charge when it is shipped and by then we will be in Q2 when there is no 5% anymore...sorry about that.

You create a registry list (wedding, baby shower, etc) and add something. In around a week you get a coupon for 15% off an order.

Nonsense really because frame rate drops occur on all platforms no matter how powerful.

Nevermind no one makes more polished games than Nintendo as a rule of thumb.
The only nonsense here is your comment. If you doubled the switches power (it'll probably be at least that much improvement to the next one), it should be easy to run any switch level graphics at 60 FPS. The switch is so weak that even in the most polished nintendo games they often can't break 30 FPS, despite how simple the graphics are for the time. I don't need my graphics to be more advanced, I just want a decent framerate and maybe a bit better anti-aliasing. Your staunch ignorance to the subject just makes you look like a joke.

Cancelled my preorder because the game is not included. I feel like Nintendo is trying to rip me off by not including the game lol. I'll just buy the game instead. Otherwise, this special version looks amazing.

Agreed. I was quite amazed at how weak the switch actually is! Maxwell is Nvidia's 2014 generation, so this hardware is literally about a decade old and 32nm!

Nintendo has not officially disclosed the theoretical peak performance of the Nintendo Switch OLED model in terms of teraflops (TFLOPS). However, the hardware specifications of the OLED model are almost identical to the original Nintendo Switch, which has been reported to have a peak performance of approximately 1 TFLOPS.

It is the Nintendo, they kept Game Boy hardware the same from year 1989 to 2001(except the color screen) 😂

I know this will be a collectible and probably fetch north of $500 some day but man, I echo the sentiment that this hardware is really aging. It was slow in 2017 and even slower today. I really hope we see a revision to the hardware soon, when in reality the tegra chip inside is from late 2015…
Amen... I just worry the next one will semi-suck hardware wise also. It really needs to have some form of DLSS and back compat with current games with upscaling tech for them... I'd bite then.
