yes, but this isn't powered so it won't provide power to charge anything or power portable hard drives.
Perfect, last question. If all I am running is a capture card, usb mic, usb cam and a mouse is a version of this either usb 2.0 or 3.0 enough to run all of that?

it should be fine, but that is a lot of devices. I haven't used unpowered usb hubs in a while.
to guarantee if it works, you'll have to look at the power usage of each device and add it up and then see what the usb port on your computer outputs.
