Will this 3600MHz, 1.35v work if my current RAM is 16GB (2x8GB) 2666MHz, 1.2v DDR4? It's a Dell OptiPlex 3060 with i5-8500 if that matters. From my research, it looks like it would but it wouldn't reach the 3600MHz possible speed. I don't care about that and am not looking to overclock. It's just for a work PC and I'd like to go up to 32GB of RAM. Thanks.

Why does this get thumbed down? It seems like a good price for a good specs RAM. Am I missing something?

I think they pasted the wrong name and link, that listing does have an option for 3600Mhz for $66: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MDZ9YFR

It would likely work, but would probably only work at the 2666 and timings of the stock Dell configuration. Their BIOS is very limited, but I've not had many actual compatibility issues. I would verify height clearance though, as Dell often crams stuff on top of their RAM. I recently updated an optiplex for someone and had to use low-profile (no extended heat-spreader) style.

Try this if clearance is an issue:
https://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Po...092ZCVHS8/

I used the 16GB (8x2) kit, but that's the 32GB kit of the same style. Worked fine for me.

Thank you. Great info. Everything I had read was conflicting. I have the SFF size. Guess I'll just have to see if it fits since it already shipped. I ended up getting this from the Amazon deal that was a bit cheaper and I didn't want to mess with Newegg returns if it didn't work.

The one I upgraded was the same SFF, don't remember the model number though. The drive cage sat right on top of the RAM, and had almost no additional clearance beyond standard DIMM PCB. If the Team kit doesn't fit, that SP kit I linked will. Good Luck.

It fit fortunately. I installed it in a Optiplex 3060 SFF. Had a little room to spare under the drive cage too. Thanks again.

I am running two sets of these in two PC, one of them for a couple years now, no issues at all other than manually set to XMP in the BIOS.
Specs are not that great, but as a deal it is pretty good IMHO, if you want great specs expect to spend around $100, so...
And thumbs down may have been from a few rappers... "io, check this out, 'now what I'm sayin'"
