It will. Gold converts to Game pass at something like 55%. Bought a different deal recently for 3 month Gold cards, and got 50 days Game pass out of each card I entered.

You can convert at some lesser rate still.

For the past few years, you've been able to load up a 3 year subscription to XLG and pay $1 to convert it to GPU. That's no longer possible.

Unless the conversion has changed, a 12 month Gold code with an active Ultimate subscription will get you 4 months.

Assuming you don't have an active Ultimate sub, I would stack as much Gold as possible (up to 36 months) then upgrade/convert to Ultimate.

I just did something similar last month. Got 3 years of game pass all set. I'm going to keep topping it off until they kill the conversion program.

Yes. The misunderstanding that's been posted here is that the $1 Ultimate deal is gone, which might be temporary or might be permanent, but has no bearing on the 1:1 conversion of Gold->Ultimate. $165 for 3 years of Ultimate is still a helluva lot cheaper than $540.

This is just flat out wrong. You can still convert 1:1 for $15 if your subscription is not active. If active then it converts at a lesser rate.

12 months Xbox Live Gold converts into 4 months GP Ultimate. See the conversion table in the official FAQ linked below. It's not a good deal. Better off waiting for deal on 3 months GPU or 3 months XBL Gold.
