43.4" to 66.9" is the adjustable limits of the frame/legs. You can go past that with the table width if you want to do custom widths.

These were on sale for ~$150 last time I made a workbench and it is solid. 84 inches long and the legs are solid.

Can't you just buy your own desktop for it?

I'd rather get a custom width/length and just use the frame...

I'm pretty sure you can. On this other FlexiSpot deal, users were talking about that as well so seems doable!

I did not buy this specific one, but I did buy one like it. I built a custom desktop and mounted it without issues. I did a river table with epoxy, looks kinda wicked.

Anyway, Be careful when it comes to the legs. When you get ready to use it the first time, make sure the legs are not in a bind. I had my desk assembled and would not work, until I bumped the two legs closer together. Strange, I know, but true.

Now it works like a champ.

Just wish it explained the width of the legs... Or what it's adjustment range is for the width.

yes you can, you can make your own, buy a wood block from HD or easier and cheaper get a too from Ikea very simple. Any standing desk preferably dual motor if you have heavy equipment wfh is a backsaver, also I heard someone mentioned you can get a refund or partial from your fsa/hsa cards benefits. My health plan gives me $250 per year, I have not done but thinking about it

Recently there was a clearance deal on E8 $100 for frame, was that better than this?

Compared to the E8, the only noticeable difference is that the legs are squared on the E5 instead of round and 13lb higher weight limit. 275lb (E8) vs 287lb (E5), and slightly different display dial thingy.

Lol but ours were $40 less soooo.. I'll leave it to you if $40 difference is worth the extra 13lb wt limit.

I got their table top which 1" thick and pretty nice too. Just wanted the color instead of bare wood which I know is tons better to get but mehh.. Theirs came with predrilled holes too so there's that ha

E8 also has 15-year warranty while this desk (E5) has 10-years.

The E5 is listed at $299.99 on their site right now with the spring sale, so $169 is a total bargain!

Would pick one up, but ordered an E7 during this sale; it has a 15-year warranty.

Thanks for your inputs. I didn't like the round legs on E8 but thought $100 for frame was a steal.
