Make sure the cable is all the way in the cellphone port. I had to remove the case of my phone. Try to activate it on a different phone if available. Just make sure you sign up or sign in the DJI mimo app before activating.

Honestly I can feel him, I have 3 DJI OSMO Mobile + this, they are all collecting dust. My first gen DJI OSMO Mobile's Gimbal is also stuck that cannot lift the phone anymore, but its out of warranty and makes no sense to pay for a repair.

The key is how often / how much effort you are willing to put into this, I just use my iPhone now and the video stabilization is not bad if not better, the image quality in the video definitely beats this.

This is going back, received the order yesterday and the microphone has issues out of the box, not worth the hassle of going back and forth with DJI with something this old

Packaging was a joke, came in a bubble wrapped enveloped and retail box within - missing charging cable

In short - no. God only knows how long these units have been sitting on retail shelves collecting dust before being palleted and shipped over to BuyDig for resale

I really wanted to like this camera - the gimbal worked as should

I'd rather stick with using a separate gimbal and GoPro even though this setup is far clunkier
