Just seems ridiculous to pay $50 for a N64 controller that works with switch, lol. I dont even remember if I paid that much for them brand new for the N64 back in the day.

Thanks!!!! Been waiting forever for this. When Goldeneye 007 came out, I told my son we won't play it until I can get a hold of 2 of these N64 controllers...any other way would be sacrilege.

I bought two for the free shipping. Hasn't been in stock for 2-3 months

Edit: this post was about the N64 controllers that are rarely in stock, and have again sold out. Now it's just the other console controllers that are always available at the listed prices.

I owned one back in the day and have many fond memory of playing N64 games, but sorry, but the N64 is the worst gaming controller of all time.

how many hands do you have? I have two and there are 3 places to hold the controller rendring the Dpad and L button effectively useless.

It's a simple design. 2D games use the D-pad and L button, 3D games use the control stick and Z button. By your logic, while playing 2D games the control stick is effectively useless on any controller.

My girlfriend owns a switch but i don't use it much so i'm not sure but would love to be able to use this with her switch and also connect it to my pc to play some Conker's Bad Fur Day

The controller sucks but playing n64 games with a regular controller is absolute hell. The C buttons dont map right. This controller is absolutely essential if you play an n64 game that uses the C buttons for something other than changing views. Zelda is a PITA

That's a very good point. Mapping old controls onto a newer controller when emulating can sometimes be a pain so it makes sense that you would want the official version so it works as intended.

on a separate note, I wonder if the thumbstick on this version is any softer or if it still makes your thumbs bleed LMAO
