I'd rather have tipped low and picked up the food myself. Does anyone know if a customer can just pick up their own food from the restaurant and somehow have the DD driver just keep whatever nominal tip without actually having to deliver?

Roomate also ordered and he got $30 back too. $60 in credit and $60 in food. Not too bad
True story. a local pasta shop had a deal recently where they basically were giving away free food on an app. I ordered. They cancelled. Said they were closed. I went there directly since it was close by and i was curious and they were "closed" at 5pm on a friday. I was with like 10 other cars all trying to get their food and I could see people inside moving around clearly trying to act like they were not open.
I mean I get it, sometimes the loss is not worth it if these things aren't planned or known ahead of time or if a mistake happens.
