The year it was first introduced to the market we had tons of customers that used the soil and their plants practically melted in the soil. Leaves turned brown, or puckered and shriveled from the amount of nutrients that were added to the soil. Seeds and seedlings can be delicate and to much fertilizer will stunt their growth, call leaf necrosis and/or can straight up kill young plants.
If you already planted and the plants are suffering you can remove and replant. Another solution is to flood the planter or ground to dilute and water down or wash the fertilizer out of the soil with tons and tons of water.
The second year the soil was out we got a message asking if it was possible to be allergic to a certain herb. Every time this lady and her daughter worked in the garden her daughter got hives and itched severely. After asking 20 questions about everything she put in the garden she mentioned MG Soil.
I reached out to industry contacts, and a garden center was had the number to the soil division of Miracle Grow. I learned that the yellow and green bag products were made from composted peanut plants and shells, yet the bags offered no warning. After the decomposition process they said the allergens should be inert. The customer I was working with said her children were incredibly sensitive to peanuts, and that she would remove the soil from her garden.
MG does have other fantastic soils. Look out for their Organic line in lime green bags. The stuff is amazing. It holds water, has a good amount of peat and fiber that breaks down in the garden. It has low or next to no fertilizer added and is fabulous to work with. I was at a convention and was able to take home 10 large bags for free and was hesitant after my customers experiences. I was pleasantly surprised at how great it is. It is more expensive than the yellow and green bags, but... It is worth it.

You can call your local landscapers to see if they carry garden soil. Most do not. If they do, delivery can range from $60-$150 on average and they will only dump up to the safest point. Usually 9 yards is the most they can deliver at one time. Not directly where you want it. But they will try. Then it's up to you to move it all from there.
If you have access to a pickup truck, put a large tarp in the bed when you get to a location that sells bulk soil by the yard. They will use heavy equipment to scoop and dump (2 yards per scoop average) into your bed. Then you can drive or back up to where you need to unload.
