I would not recommend walmart+. Seems like about 75% of the items I want they either won't ship or require a scheduled delivery (which usually either requires or strongly requests a tip). I honestly find myself hardly ever using walmart+ because of this caveat. I'll be discontinuing my service next go-round if that doesn't change. Feel like it was a bait and switch when they promised free shipping and then it turned out it was only on select items.

Not sure but I always find Walmart a bit wonky.

I don't have the + account and I wanted to order an $1 item for pickup. It was not available but free delivery was available. They had someone drive from a neighboring Walmart just to deliver me a $1 item. Not that I'm complaining. I think the gas and time of the employee exceeds that $1 item. Lol

Crazy they would charge as much as Prime while being less useful.

Shipping takes 3-4 days and many small items are pickup only. Defeats the purpose of no minimum shipping

Anything else you can pricematch
in most locations walmart will do grocery delivery and has real 3 day shipping where amazon takes a week.

unforunately where I live, no delivery.

Different subscriptions but

W+ gives you free delivery on orders $35+, free Paramount+ account, save 10c a gallon on gas at participating places, free shipping (no minimum) and probably some other stuff.

We typically get a grocery delivery a week or so. It's great to not go inside Walmart, ours here has less than stellar cashiers. Our delivery drivers are always excellent though. You don't have to tip, but we opt to.

I would keep my W+ membership over Amazon. I can get free 2 day on Amazon if I spend over $25 which isn't hard. I find W+ to be more beneficial mainly due to the grocery delivery.

I wonder if Delta Amex still gives a 50% discount on top of the deal.

Walmart vs Amazon: one issue you must consider if you live rural:

unless your town has a dedicated Amazon delivery - Amazon Prime uses the USPS for the final delivery. USPS won't bring packages larger than a rural mailbox to your door - even if it's 20 feet away.

Walmart however always uses FedEx and they do a great job here. BIG issue for many small towns and rural customers.

whats the point if walmart offers free shipping anyway above $35 purchases? don't get it

would assume this be beneficial if they offered free shipping below $35 or no minimum.

Anything else to make this deal sweeter? Like an Amex offer or chase offer or cash back?

I agree, I think I am trapped now. Prime delivers for any amount.

I don't see the 5 extra free months on mine. It was also 57 but it indicates renewal starts at March 30, 2024

The guy who says a year and 5 months is wrong. Attention to details guys! They are selling it to you at $57 instead of the usual. Hence the 5 months free.

They're both good for different things. Walmart+ is good if you can't go or don't like grocery shopping…same day delivery of groceries (usually within 4 hours) is nice. Haven't step foot in a Walmart in like a month. For some reason they don't even implement minimums for me most of the time. (Ymmv on that front though, might have something to do with my dads Medicare food card attached to it). Paramount+ is included….so there's that. I've cancelled my prime membership since I signed up for Walmart+ simply because I don't watch much on prime video and I realized that most things I buy on Amazon are via Subscrube & Save anyways. I'll just sign back up if a new Season of The Boys or Invincible etc. come out.
