Pretty much, the dell offer is $120 off $600 or more, so you could add something for ~120 and get $360 by using split payments. Dell allows a maximum of 3 cards so that would be the maximum. If you have the AMEX Business Platinum you could get another $200 off for each card. So best case scenario would be around ~1950 in cart, then 10% using the mail code taking it to $1755 pre tax then tax taking you over $1800. Then $600 on each card to get another $360 off using Amex offers, another $600 off using Business Platinum yearly credits and finally 10% for the total transaction using a cashback portal. Making the final total = $700. This can obviously be increased further is you were working on a signup bonus on those cards but that would be next level. I have 3 gold cards and they all have the $120 off 600 or more so I don't have the business platinum statement offset but that would be the maximum stack.

Grand Total (Pre tax) : $1950
10% off email code : -$195
Taxes : $120
Cashback Portal 10% : -$186
AMEX Offer ($120 off $600) x 3 : -$360
AMEX Business Platinum Credit : -$600

Final : $729
Yes, no, it depends.

The single thread is pretty damn close but the Intel is better but these Intel mobile chips are a good bit weaker then the desktop ones because they down clock pretty aggressively.

It is very common for these Intel chips to steal some of the total system power budget from the GPU. The GPU might be a full wattage version but the CPU plus GPU together at full power can often exceed what the total system power limit is and restrict each other sometimes.

The AMD one is faster if it's not plugged in and you can usually disable the dedicated GPU and get pretty decent battery life.

If it's always gonna be plugged in and on a cooling pad, I would get the Intel one.

If you are gonna carry it around and use it for other things and play strategy and casual games in bed or use it on your lap sometimes, I would definitely get the AMD one.
