besides the mario games, are any of these games exclusive to switch? I finally just got one of these, but if games are cross platform, I'd rather get them on xbox, since that's where I've invested the most. I'd want the switch mainly for games that I can only play on the switch... would appreciate if anyone can identify which ones would be a good fit, thanks!

This is me exactly. I just bought a used Switch about a month ago. I already had Mario Party, Zelda Breath of the Wild, and Mario Kart. Figured it was time to upgrade over the Wii since I skipped Wii U.

I was thinking about getting the SteamWorld games since I beat SteamWorld Dig & Dig 2 both on Xbox already, and they are Nintendo exclusives. I'm also looking at, since they are on sale, Mario Odyssey, Mario 3D / Bowers fury, & Mario Deluxe.

Trine. We just finished 1 and 2. It's up to 3 players local co-op.

Everyone should buy Terraria, again if you have to. I believe it's cross platform and couch multiplayer, like a 2d minecraft so you will enjoy beating bosses, collecting loot and building houses. I have ~3000 hours into the game and still play it.
