I definitely think this year they'll release a more premium answer to the 4K Max with more storage and back-lit remote.

What are you wanting local storage for? I have several of this exact model with "all the streaming apps" and still plenty free. I guess if you're not using it as a streamer. Sideloading emulators and roms? I'd go shield instead.

got mine last BF deal and it's been great. I gave in and tried Apple TV 4K box but went back to this stick for ease of use. Apple just likes to be special, fussy about soundbars and the apps aren't as good. Directv was painful to RW or FF and app storage filled up fast with their junk ATV apps I don't need.

Having issues with my old 4k stick, nice time to trade in and upgrade. Thanks OP! I also have a bad remote from my other stick that I am unpairing and swapping it out and killing two birds with one trade in.
