Nongshim is one of the best instant ramen brands in the way of quality that is common in the US. There may be a few better ones, but when I walk down the ramen isle in my local asian market, it can be very overwelming. I add some green onion, chicken, and anything I have left over in to make it a good meal.

I had these bowls a few years ago in the Kimchi flavor. I was thoroughly unimpressed in every way.

Isn't half a bowl serving size a joke? Who is it serving, a bird? Hate when companies show lower numbers by cutting down the serving size to a joke.
On other hand, isn't the most of this sodium in instant ramen come from their seasoning?
I usually toss that away and make my own. Hopefully the noodles themselves aren't AS bad.
Most of the sodium is in the soup base. Discard and replace it with a healthier seasoning, or add just a portion of the soup base to reduce the amount of sodium present. This is a big reason why I mostly stick to Nongshim. Many other brands premix the base/seasoning, meaning that there is no way around the high sodium intake.
