Searched on the mobile site and must have missed it. You can just report it and save yourself the hassle.

Anyone here bought from them directly? If so, how was your experience? Did you have to pay customs duty on the PC?

Too bad they don't sell barebones versions on Amazon.

Pay $110 more for 16gb ram and 512gb ssd and windows 11 pro seems more than reasonable.

Of course it goes down after so many pre-ordered it (myself included) lol but I got it through Ali instead (anniversary coupons). Should be receiving it in a few days. I'm not aware of any customs to be paid, will find out and report though.

Contacted Minisforums to try to cancel my nab6 order and order this instead. The usb4 port on this is worth the price difference.

Was considering purchasing until I got a bit sketched out by the fact that you have to download all the drivers from mediafire links, and a lot of them get hits on virustotal. Too sketchy for me.

Feeling that a file is sketchy merely because it's hosted on Mediafire is a personal bias that I'm not going to contend with, but regarding the hits on Virustotal, I'm absolutely certain that those are a false positive. You say that "a lot of them get hits on virustotal," and while I don't have time to check every single download link for every single driver for every single Minisforum model, I did look at a few dozen of them, and the only Mediafire-hosted file I'm seeing with any Virustotal hits is the AMD RZ608 WiFi module driver (if you can share any other specific examples you're seeing, I'll gladly look at those as well). The linked RZ608 drivers are provided as a self-extracting archive executable, which are well-known to often trip lower-quality antivirus heuristics, simply due to their nature as an executable that contains other compressed executables and data having a very cursory conceptual similarity to how some malware payloads are compressed and hidden inside other files. Manually unpacking the contents of the archive using 7zip and running Virustotal scans on every single file contained within turns up no hits whatsoever, confirming that it is not the actual contents that are triggering them, but merely the executable archive itself, precisely for the aforementioned false-positive reason.

Notice that only 10 of the 68 antivirus vendors checked via Virustotal flag this download as being suspect, and that some of those are total no-names like MaxSecure. That one in particular is somewhat notorious for seemingly flagging darn near everything as malware, to the extent that some of the more conspiratorially-minded in the security community almost suspect that it is designed to deliberately over-report false positives, in order to drive business to their consumer AV software. All of the actual major league security vendors (Avast, AVG, Avira, Bitdefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Panda, Symantec, Microsoft, etc) show this file as being perfectly fine.

I certainly understand how seeing this manufacturer-provided driver file being partially flagged on Virustotal might be unsettling at first glance, but I hope this helps explain why there's actually nothing to worry about here.

Anyone know how the Linux support is on these? Would be interested in getting one to run Ubuntu server on.

Bought it a week ago. 3 days later anniversary sale. Asked them if I could get the new lowered price. No answer. First time buying from the company and probably my last.

Actually, the VT hits I assumed were FPs, it was the Mediafire thing that really made me think twice. I have never seen a legit vendor host their drivers on a 3rd party site like that. Why not just host it locally? Even smaller OEMs do it. And don't say "bandwidth", because if they sold that many machines for it to be a lot of bandwidth, they could afford the bandwidth.
