I own this light. Sadly, there is no plugin option. I'd pay good money just for a stinking AC adapter to get that feature.

Good news is, the 5.0ah batteries last a loooooong time on this thing. I use mine for car repairs all the time, and I have batteries that have collected over the years as I've gotten more tools. Even the basic charger should be able to recharge a 2nd battery long before the one you're using runs out - unless you've got it max brightness. Of course if you only have one battery, you don't have that option.

This light is amazing, but I'm struggling to find a tripod that will work for it. I tried the craftsman tripod at Lowes, and it doesn't work, despite having different adapters and being "universal". Any suggestions?

The light itself is fantastic though.

Updated post to prefer Lowes since it has the best deal ($130 + free shipping). Note that the price may be $150 in some instances depending on where you set your zip.

Walmart has it for $130+shipping. Acme tools is also $130+shipping.

if you combine a $20 off $100 coupon, even if you have to buy one... you can get it as low as ~$110

Does Lowes still offer these coupons?

The coupons I found you can buy are only good for full price items so this wouldn't apply. Am I missing something?

That's right…. the downside of this is you can't plug in as an option. Next version should have it. Hard pass then.

Try looking up "Projector tripod stand". Most come with velcro straps to hold it on too

Is this confirmed or are you just guessing? I'd like to have that version, but I'm not sure Ego would do that since they want to sell more batteries.

Basketball court..

In product image it shows a guy using this at his basketball court. My neighbor has his own court, he somehow managed the electric company to install a super bright LED one for free. I guess each property is allotted one.

Something to think about if you have your own basketball or tennis court.. I mean his lightens it up like a freaking Christmas tree. Its nuts. And its daytime white, not yellow or purple.
