Gosh, Banana Republic has absolutely TRASHED their site.

I look at a winter coat - hey, it's flippin' cold out, I'd love to see if this coat is fitted or straight! NOPE. ITS BREEZY OUT, Y'ALL GOTTA SEE IT BLOWING.

I look at an "UNTUCKED Oxford Shirt" - GO TO HELL - I'M TUCKING IT IN FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT, NORMAL PEOPLE BE DAMNED.

What the hell, BR team? The pricing of items is overlaid on demo shots, filtering tools have been pared to the bare minimum, item photos are limited to a single model/size....

and FFS BR, stop skimping on the fabric and making everything skinny. Believe it or not, there are some normal weight men that have thighs and calves that make your crap look like under armor compression gear.

And the high water inseams make every pair of pants look like football pants or capris.

At these prices, if you can find your size it is absolutely worth it. Their rapid movement chinos are great and a huge bargain at $25 and under. They wash well, fit well, stain resistant, and come in a variety of colors. I'd recommend getting a backup pair as well. Price/quality nowhere else can you find such a deal, some of them coming in at $13 if you can find your size.

Has the quality at BR declined. Yes, like everywhere else sadly.

Customer service is good, bought cashmere top coat two weeks ago, they lowered price to current sales price, saved additional $130. THANKS OP.

Love their traveler jeans.

Their website sucks though.

The website doesn't look like selling clothing, as the photo demonstration focus on the model's facial expressions and poses.
The back drop lighting on these photos looks nice, but hey, im here to buy clothes not the model. Smilie

Can you comment on the fit? Skinny or tapered options for the rapid movement, assuming I want tapered for a more relaxed fit?

You can go in store but the prices won't ring up to the same as they do m the website. FORTUNATELY, you can pull up the item from the website on your phone and they'll price adjust it to the website sale price. Really great way to beat the fact that BR is kinda shady in not transparently offering these sale prices on the same items to people in store.
