They're fine
once upon a time they snuck additional transactions of a dollar on people's credit cards without their knowledge. If you're paying thru ebay you should be ok, with that being said return shipping is not free and they may charge a 15% restocking fee on opened items
5700x is 8c/16t, offers better multicore performance than the 12100f.

12400f is a more comparable product

Is this a good upgrade for 5600G? I bought 5600G a couple of years ago during GPU scarcity, and now I already use RX6600 so I'm wondering whether 5700X is going to be right choice. I want to utilize its gen4.0 on my b550 motherboard.

I don't think you will see much difference. What is your use case? 1080p esports?

If you're not going high end on the GPU there's no point swapping out the 5600g.

Something I don't understand about AMD / Intel pricing. How come 5700 is $160 when similar offering from Intel (i3 12100F) is $70.
What am I missing?
