CCC shows this bike as being at the lowest price in a while, not sure about the quality.
I'm looking for two weekend bikes for gravel, road, and light trail. I'm 6'2, wife is 5'7 - on hers, we'll install a baby chair so the junior can come with us.

Other on sale on their site: RCF Mountain Bike, White, 27.5-inch; 16.5" Frame
$649.99 (probably an inflated price $1,899.99)

amazon link showing bike fitting chart between frame size and height/inseam. Frame size 19in has better chance to fit your height 6'2. Has less chance to fit your wife's height. Will recommend REI co-op CITY 1.1 has sale price of $448 since last Sep which has more choice of bike sizes to fit different height. Plus better build quality, after sale service, and warranty. Due to its low prices, it is quite popular and often saw people pick up new co-op CITY 1.1 one or two at a time and loading them into their SUV/hutch in REI parking lot.

I second the suggestion to go to REI (or local bike shop) to get correctly assembled bikes that properly fit the riders and the riding that they'll be doing.

I also recommend a trailer instead of a child seat because putting weight high on a bike impacts safe handling.

It looks like it has a cassette, not freewheel, so it is one big plus. With that some bikes with 8 speed cassettes including Trek have crappy narrow hubs that do not allow 9 speed upgrades, can't say what this one has. Claris groupset is nice. The only real issue I see is that the rear derailleur hanger is integrated. Tires are also crappy 1.9" wide, but for what it is (gravel) should be fine. Marins (any Marin) are night and day better quality, also have real MTB (coil but still) Suntour forks. For $280 it is a good bike for casual ride if you ignore missing derailleur hanger, but if want MTB get Kent Trouvaille from Walmart for just $100 more with real 1x9, proper frame, hanger, better wheels and tires, better everything. Kent comes in two sizes, M and L, $398, so if have plans to ride on trails (roots), get Kent and don't look back. I'm not even talking about ridiculous colors, steel cheap seatpost and plastic logo on Royce Union. Wife will also like Trouvaille frame much more vs this "men's" frame.
