This is $100 cheaper than the Costco deal that was fp.
Costco didn't list their specs, but I assume it's the same bike.
L and XL only

Should not repeat it ad nauseam but I am trying to beat the trolls.
This is a good bike, from a great company that really knows their sh!t. Yes, the built kit for this is not top-shelf, but this is a pretty current, sporty XC/Trail carbon bike, so some corners had to be cut.
It is identical to the Intense Sniper XC, but with a cheaper spec that was put together as a direct to consumer / non LBS / Costco etc product. If you want a better built, you can shop directly for the Intense Sniper and pay the $ difference.
@ 42, this is my fav type of bike: sporty, great pedaller, still can tackle most blue and black diamond trails with mild drops, while being faster on the flats and ups vs. most trail bikes with more travel, but not as sketchy as a pure race XC 100mm FS.
No wish to pedal a pig uphill, even as refined as some of the new 150+ mm travel bikes are. If I get a longer travel bike, will probably be an eMTB, and keep a sporty MTB for the easier stuff and when I feel like more cardio, but don't want to punish myself on a gravel bike or my SS HT.
The bike I got for this role, inspired by this/the Sniper, was the Rocky Mountain Element C, but at a notable additional cost (much like the Sniper).
It is not a "slick deal", but a good deal for those with the bug, i.e. conditional.

Either way same specifications/components.
Only advantage through Costco is their return policy.
