Want to know what would happen if you rode a helicopter blade, built a billion-story building, made a lava lamp out of lava, or jumped on a geyser as it erupted? Okay, if you insist.

This and the first "What If?" are probably the funniest books I've ever read. Well worth this price.

I loved the first version of this book, but the second version was just a collection of blog posts.

What If (and XKCD by proxy) are amazing. $2 is a steal.

I attended the book release talk at Harvard last fall by Randall Munroe and he is a fairly humble but absolutely brilliant author and public speaker. This and the first book in the series is a constant re-read for both my pre-teen kids, and the writing is engaging such that your kids can read a section and discuss this while in the car with you. At least check out the book from your local library.

Same here. Now I need to wait for a deal for the first what if book, which is currently at a rip-off price of $18.
