Plug them into smart wifi plugs and set a voice command to turn them on and off 👍

With Ring Protect, do you have the ability to limit recording to a schedule? Or can you only schedule the notifications and motion is always recorded?

Are these good enough to get to put in a window facing out? I currently have 5 Yi brand Cameras that I use just sitting in windows facing out and such to see my front yard, backyard, basement, garage etc

Yes. You can customize modes that turn indoor cameras off and then put that customized mode on a schedule of your choice

Ring is a US based company owned by Amazon. Wyze is basically rebranded Xiaomi or some other garbage. I can't understand why people buy Wyze cameras and keep them turned on (!) indoors 24/7. Same with Eufy. These cameras work great. I have mine connected to homekit smart switches, so they turn on and off automatically when I leave/arrive at my house. Also, the app shows you snapshots on timeline even if there was no motion which is cool. Definitely better than new nest cameras where you basically have a black screen if there was no motion on a timeline. Also, if you are concerned about privacy, ring offers optional end to end encryption. You are going to lose some of the functionality but at least they give you that option.

Yeah, that is creepy having cameras on in the house all the time. I don't even trust a schedule to turn them off (like having the voice assistant turned off on your phone, it's still listening). I physically unplug the ones in the house when I am home. Not a big deal to add plugging in cameras to my house lockup and go routine.

You need a plan for saving video footage. The plus and pro plans include unlimited ring cameras

For those defending Ring because they are Amazon owned.

Did you have to buy directly from Ring or did it work on Amazon? I have my account linked between Ring and Amazon, but I'm not seeing the $4 off when I try to check out on Amazon

I sold all my Wyze and got the ring indoor, since I have ring alarm. Worth it at this price if you don't plant to get rid of Ring. Even for the extra warranty they give you.
What's the added warranty they give? My SO has Ring Alarm Pro service, and 5 cameras (doorbell pro, floodlight, and 3 of these); I have 2 more I bought last year I'll set up soon with solar panels. I have so many cameras myself but taking advantage of one service (like Ring pro service) since I can add as many cameras without adding cost
