Did you have to buy directly from Ring or did it work on Amazon? I have my account linked between Ring and Amazon, but I'm not seeing the $4 off when I try to check out on Amazon
I was able to just add it to my cart on Amazon and when I went to check out, it showed -$4
I submitted a trade in for 20% off, but apparently the 20% off code won't be sent until Amazon receives and inspects the trade in device. By that time the deal will probably be dead.
I don't think these record sound events, right? You can hear sound during a motion event. But I don't think they will alert you to a strictly sound event.
Yeah, that is creepy having cameras on in the house all the time. I don't even trust a schedule to turn them off (like having the voice assistant turned off on your phone, it's still listening). I physically unplug the ones in the house when I am home. Not a big deal to add plugging in cameras to my house lockup and go routine.
These watch the inside of my house when I'm out of state or out of country. Cheapest house-sitter on the planet earth.

Thought the general consensus here was Wyze was the way to go for a number of reasons - cost, support, updates etc.
Been suffering with their shit for years and I've had it.
