New firmware was released last week to address the failure health degradation issues with this drive. Make sure to update your firmware as soon as you install to prevent the failure issue.

Samsung ALREADY fixed it though. That is what the firmware update is for. Now if you are waiting for all the ones being sold to come with that firmware, good luck with that.

Lol takes a shorter time to update the firmware to fix the issue than you reading the reviews.

But I mean, that's fine. The longer we hold from buying, cheaper it'll be in the near future perhaps

TY for that code. Almost got 980 for that price last month Glad this is down to under 150. Just got a new computer and this is a solid upgrade. It's like 1 million times faster than my OCZ SSD's.
