ROFL. And here I am remembering the days when laptops came with 1366x768 screens and weighed 10lbs. Kids these days.

This screen kinda kills this otherwise beautiful machine.

Picked this up last week for the same price. Mine was basically brand new in a Best Buy repackaged box. No issues so far. The screen is the biggest weakness, but honestly, it still looks fantastic. No bleeding whatsoever and it's bright enough for me. The metal body & being < 5lbs was a big plus. Almost zero flex on the keyboard and it comes with a number pad. Lenovo functionally and port placement is also next to none for a laptop.
I wish it came with a 3070 TI, but it's the tradeoff for being under $1K. Definitely wouldn't buy it at full price.

Would have like to see qhd display atleast. Also hurts that 8gb of ram isnt upgradable so can only run 16gb in dual channel

I saw 2 of these Slim 7i's side-by-side at Microcenter, one with an anti glare and the other glossy, and for me one looks dull and the other vibrant.

G14 and it isn't particularly close. An open box G14 2022 routinely runs sub-$1,000 and will run circles around this in performance, build quality, AND battery life (>8 hours). I have a 2020 G14 and am just biding my time for my next one.
