Northern Tool
Deal Details
Definitely YMMV but last week I came upon a grey cart of random KNIPEX tools near the check outs at my local Northern Tool store (SW Freeway, zip 77477). I was told that some Knipex tools were being repriced and cleared out in order to reduce the store selection. I can't see them on the NT website anymore. Anyway, I exercised tremendous restraint and only bought the following three:
SKU 4942599 Alligator water pump plier 12" sale price paid $29.99;
SKU 4942513 Angled cutter 10" sale price paid $32.99;
SKU 4942847 XL Needle nose plier sale price paid $28.79.
I ended up looking through the tools and having a store associate check the prices for me as not all that were on the cart were showing as reduced. Other Knipex tools that were reduced included smaller 8" needle nose pliers, 3 tool cutter combos and linesman pliers IIRC. NOT ALL KNIPEX ARE REDUCED! I also checked the Gulf Freeway, 77061 location but they only had one item marked with a red clearance tag on their display and it was gone, so definitely YMMV. If you have a NT store nearby, it may be worthwhile to wander over and check it out. If you don't see any marked "clearance" on the display, I would ask a store associate.
