Why is this better than the WD SN770 500g for $40 - WD coupon = $37? DRAM? Interested for a 5 year old Win10 OS drive.

Western Digital is a great brand but Samsung seems to own the NVME market as far as reliability, compatibility, and speed.

I picked up the used-acceptable one on Amazon for an additional $10 off. I ordered just to keep in my drawer as a spare for the next laptop or desktop build/upgrade.

If you have a newer gen intel or Ryzen you might want to look at the 980 pro or 990.
