Damn. Let's check if it is available around us and can match at BB

damn, misread and just saw it is a refurb unit. Still not too bad vs ~2300-2400 plus tax for the new unit during SD sale

Need to see how these prices react once the C3 start hitting shelves, which is what I am waiting for with the C2s.

I am in the same boat. The micro center by me has one in stock. It's killing me not to go there but with the C3s coming out so soon I'm going to hold out a bit.

I'll also take a 77 inch G2 for 2000 new or refurb, I wish I knew someone with the employee site access. I wonder how much the G2 and C2 are going for there.

Is this LG refurbished? And is there any extra warranty or just 90 days

Anyone know how reliable factory refurbished LG OLEDs are from Microcenter? I reserved one from my local store but need to research the price more to see just how good this deal is, if it's worth it or not. Need to research the warranty and how much an extended warranty is. Maybe can buy an extended warranty on upsie.com for cheaper than what Microcenter charges. No way I'd buy a $2k TV with just 90 days of warranty. Need at least 2 years.

I picked up a C1 Refurb last fall from them that had 0 hours, film still in place, accessories never opened and has been flawless in the first 6 months. I'm not worried about burn in as I almost never watch any static content.

I've been waiting for the Costco 77" C2 to drop with a 5 year warranty. I've watched this refurb for the past month it was $1899, went up to $1999 for several weeks then to $1799.

For those wondering on Microcenter extended warranty cost, at least in Midwest this was the quote:
$299 3 year (w screen protection);
$269 4 year (without screen protection)
$189 2 year (without screen protection)

From other threads the screen protection may or may not cover burn-in. After my Sony lasted 19 months I'll get as long a warranty as possible, haven't decided on this refurb with the C2's hopefully dropping. Convince me to wait 😀

From what I can tell, they are LG refurbished. Micro center does offer an extended warranty, but they don't cover burn-in (I've had multiple direct conversations with them about this), which is the primary concern. For that matter, LG doesn't officially cover burn-in on the regular warranty either.

Very tempting. But for me an extended warranty is a must. I'll never buy another oled without at least 5 years of burn in protection.

I looked at TV warrantys through upsie.com and they cover burn in protection from what it says and it's $4 a month. So for $48 a year you're fully covered, sounds like a good deal but I don't know about the claims process through upsie. Gonna have to research that and see what people say, wonder if it's a nightmare or what. I've seen Upsie advertised everywhere but never talked to someone that went through a claim process. $4 a month for a $1800 refurbished TV to have full protection seems too go to be true...what's the catch I wonder?

Here's link for Upsie TV warrantys. https://upsie.com/tv-warranty/lg?...eiling=749

I saw this as well on Upsie:

Can I buy a protection plan on a used/refurbished television?

Yes! Starting March 24, 2023 you can buy a protection plan for your used or refurbished TV as long as your device has no damage, comes with at least a 30-day seller or manufacturer warranty, you purchased your device within the last 4 years, and its original MSRP before tax and discounts was at or below $3,999.99.

I've purchased a 77" cx and 48" c1 refurbs from microcenter. You can try to register the TV with LG to see if it qualifies for a full 1-year warranty. My 77" cx got the full year, but LG knew the 48" was a refurb purchase, so ymmv with that. I'm guessing the 77 might have been an open box return sold as refurbished, but I don't know for sure.

Both TVs have given me no problems so far, and were in like-new condition when I unpacked them.

Same. That's why I went with the G series. Getting too old I guess to deal with failing TV's.
