Renewing my expired card was very easy. Just copy and paste the Groupon membership ID and paste it to BJ primary account holder membership ID on the BJ app.

I would disagree, Costco is much better than BJ'S, to start with shipping is never free for BJs, you have to be on lookout for coupons in BJ'S whereas Costco straight away offer member discount. In terms of return policy, both Costco and Sam's are way ahead of BJ'S.
Sam's feels like a warehouse version of Walmart.
I have both Costco and BJs. I shop at Costco more, but definitely need items from BJs (e.g., chicken meat, beef bones, salt, ice cream cakes, etc).
