The BJs membership for $20 is back again! I bought this last time a few months ago and they have returned back to this price.

It says new customers only but I had an expired membership and it worked. I purchased the coupon through groupon and the voucher is a membership id. I just updated my expired membership id to the one groupon provided and it shows my account is active for a year.

Fine print says below.

I would disagree, Costco is much better than BJ'S, to start with shipping is never free for BJs, you have to be on lookout for coupons in BJ'S whereas Costco straight away offer member discount. In terms of return policy, both Costco and Sam's are way ahead of BJ'S.

BJs has more organic products. Accepts manufacturer coupons.
Sam's feels like a warehouse version of Walmart.

I have both Costco and BJs. I shop at Costco more, but definitely need items from BJs (e.g., chicken meat, beef bones, salt, ice cream cakes, etc).
